By boarding your pet with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions
Whilst every care will be taken, all animals are boarded entirely at owners own risk.
No animal will be boarded without current vaccinations and an up to date vaccination record must be presented upon arrival for boarding. Core vaccines must have been given at least 3 days before stay if boosters and two weeks before stay if a primary course. Kennel cough vaccinations must be given at least 14 days before stay, please discuss with us if you are unsure of any vaccine requirement.
We reserve the right to refuse any animal for boarding due to illness or behavioural issues that have not been discussed and agreed to prior to boarding. Any animal that appears unwell upon arrival will not be accepted for boarding.
By agreeing to board your pet with us you consent to us calling a Veterinary Surgeon on your behalf if we deem it necessary and consenting to any necessary treatment in your absence, where practical we will try to use your pets own vets, in an emergency it may be necessary to use our own local Veterinary Surgery, we ask that owners notify us of any pre existing medical conditions and any special requirements their pets have to ensure the best care is provided. Vets bills are the responsibility of the pets owner.
Boarding fees are charged from the day of arrival, where the pet is collected before closing time on the morning of departure day no charge is made for that day, payment must be made on collection of your pet, we accept cash and most debit and credit cards, sorry but we do not accept cheques. Boarding fees are due for the full booking if you choose to collect your pet early.
All pets must be treated for fleas and worms before boarding, in the event any parasites are seen on your pet an appropriate Veterinary approved product will be administered and the costs charged to the owner.
We welcome you bringing any bedding and/or toys that will help make your pets stay more enjoyable, these items are left at owners own risk.
We ask that you bring your pets own food as we try to avoid sudden dietary changes that may cause problems, prices do not include food.
- Pregnant animals will not be accepted for boarding.
- In season bitches are boarded at owners own risk.
- All male cats must be neutered.
- We ask that all dogs have a basic level of house training.
Only animals from the same household will be permitted to share a kennel and will do so at owners own risk, we reserve the right to separate animals where necessary if in the pets best interest. Any problems with your pet noted by yourselves following collection must be reported to us within 24 hours of collection.
Boarding fees include any extra heating necessary during cold weather and any administration of medications.
We ask that all pets are dropped off/picked up during opening hours, where this is not the case an out of hours fee will be charged.
If you cancel with less than 7 days notice 50% of the total boarding fees will be due, if no notice is given 100% of the fees will be due.
We comply to GDPR regulations and a full gdpr policy is available on request, only necessary data is obtained and kept. We are registered with the ICO. Photos taken of your pet during their stay may be used on social media or our website, if you do not wish us to use pictures of your pet please notify us when dropping off your pet.
If any animal is not collected within 15 days of the stated departure date and there has been no communication from the owner and/or agent and all efforts to contact the owner has failed the animal(s) will become the property of Yeovale Kennels.
